I'm Salah Sheikh and I currently work as a software engineer at Arista Networks where I lead bring-up of current and next-generation networking switches. Most recently, I brought-up the flagship 7800R4 series of linecards designed for AI clusters and data center interconnects. Previously, I interned at Apple, AMD, and Synopsys.
I'm broadly interested in AI infrastructure at the bleeding-edge. Across hardware and software, every layer of the compute and networking stack is rapidly evolving to enable the ML models of tomorrow to train and run at scale. I’m fascinated by how these layers interact and the unique challenges and solutions emerging at each layer.
